What it is
Home2Clinic keeps your medical records in one online locker that is designed to last a lifetime. A prescription, a lab report, an imaging report, a discharge summary or an insurance document goes in as a photo or a PDF, and stays there for as long as you keep your account.
Each record is typed by kind, or you can leave the type for the app to detect. Once uploaded, the text inside a scan is read and made searchable, so a paper prescription from years ago can be found by the name of a medicine written on it.
Who it is for
Anyone in India who has a drawer or a phone gallery full of medical paperwork and cannot find the right document when a doctor asks for it. It suits people managing a long-term condition, parents keeping track of a child’s history, and anyone who changes doctors or cities and wants their records to come with them.
How it works
- Create an account with your email address and confirm it with the code we send you.
- Open the locker and upload a record as a photo or a PDF from your phone or computer.
- Choose the kind of document, such as prescription or lab report, or let the app detect it.
- Wait a moment while the text inside the scan is extracted and indexed.
- Search your locker by a drug name, a test or a diagnosis and open the documents it appears in.
Why Home2Clinic
Most storage apps hold a file and stop there. Home2Clinic reads the text inside a scan, so your history is searchable rather than a pile of images. Records sit next to your appointments and the write-ups your doctor leaves after a visit, so a diagnosis, the medicines prescribed for it and the report that led to it are in one place.
Records are encrypted in transit and at rest, and every access to a record is logged. Our Data security page explains the measures in detail.

Frequently asked questions
- What kinds of medical records can I upload?
- Prescriptions, lab reports, imaging reports, discharge summaries, insurance documents and anything else you want to keep, as a photo or a PDF. You choose the kind when you upload, or let the app detect it.
- Can I search inside a scanned prescription?
- Yes. The text inside a scan is read after upload and indexed, so you can search your locker for a medicine, a test or a diagnosis and get back the documents that mention it. Very faint or handwritten text may not be read completely.
- How long are my records kept?
- The locker is built for lifetime storage. A record stays in your account until you remove it, and there is no limit on how far back your history can go.
- Can I share a record with my doctor?
- Not yet. Today a record is visible only inside your own account, whether it is filed under your profile or under a family member’s. Sharing a record with a doctor or anyone else is not available in the current version.
- Is a medical records app safe to use?
- Records are encrypted while they travel to us and while they are stored, and every time a record is opened, that access is logged. The Data security page describes what we do and how to report a concern.
